Welcome to Thailand and to Asian Sky, travel specialists for tailor-made villa rental holidays in Phuket, Samui, Krabi, Koh Lanta, and Khao Lak in the South, Hua Hin in the Central region, Chiang Mai, and Tak in the North, Loei in the North East and Chanthaburi in the Eastern region of the Kingdom. We specifically cater for the discerning traveller who needs flexibility of movement away from the madding crowds.
Our independent approach to renting luxury vacation villas, organising golfing tours, and preparing eco-tours helps customers construct a holiday that allows them to move at their own pace. Exploring or relaxing, our clients are able to take-in the delights and splendour of a country rich in cultural heritage that even the indigenous folk find amazing. Magnificent scenery abounds in national parks on land and sea in the ornate architecture of ancient temples and monuments. Try a subtle cuisine that positioned Thailand in the top five greatest places to eat on the planet. The beauty of the country and the intrigue of its cultural heritage are accentuated by the grace and charm of a nation of people who take great pleasure in welcoming you to this Land of Smiles. Try getting off the beaten track in Southern Thailand with overnight stays at Khao Soke Natural Rainforest (one of a few rainforests left in southern Thailand). Or, take a trip to the remote Koh Pra Thong island to experience the tranquillity of unspoiled nature in a tropical setting.
In early December each year guests at our Kata villas also have the opportunity of a birds eye view of the Kings Cup Regatta http://www.kingscup.com/ which is held to celebrate His Majesty The King of Thailand's birthday.
In contrast Tak Province is land locked butting up against the Burmese border to the west and being split down the middle by the river Ping flowing south from Chiang Mai. This is a beautifully scenic forgotten part of Thailand where crowds are unknown and the natural pace of rural life carries on undisturbed by modern man.
Chiang Mai and the surrounding region to the north is a widely romanticized mountainous region interlaced with fast flowing rivers and waterfalls where Burma, Laos and Thailand meet. Known as “The Golden Triangle” it has a long history of wandering hill tribes, drugs warlords, and arms dealers. The good news is Chiang Mai is also famous for its friendly culture, charm, handcrafts and hospitality; in the surrounding countryside orchids, butterflies, and exotic flora and fauna can be found in abundance with spectacular waterfalls and mountain top vistas to take your breath away.
Services offered include:
Exclusive villas and luxury properties to rent
Asian Sky follows a philosophy of providing customers with exclusive holiday villas and other luxury properties in Thailand, geared towards independently-minded folk who don't have time (or reliable in-country contacts) to do their own research.
Similar services are also provided for selected luxury villas in Bali Indonesia where we have an associate office. For further information please send enquiries to bali@britishacorn.com
As a general rule, most of the luxury accommodation offered is deliberately out of town at quieter locations but still within striking distance of local shopping and entertainment facilities. Before our customers embark on their chosen trips, we furnish information on local activities taking place; areas of natural beauty and interest; suggested routes to follow and a good local map along with all essential documentation. Any special interest requests for clients are researched by us and added to travel packages.
We provide a private car at all of our rental properties where appropriate.
Thailand has a reputation as a golfing paradise with a wealth of international class courses that have attracted the world's best pros over the years - including American-Thai, Tiger Woods. Thailand frequently stages the Johnnie Walker Super Tour and other Asian classics attracted by the excellent course facilities and clubroom accommodation found kingdom-wide. These are available to our customers and despite the world class conditions a first-class round of golf is possible for around US$60 to US$70.
At Asian Sky we customise golf packages for our clients to fit in with individual preferences (and energy levels) with one or two rounds a day. Our online questionnaire is available for customers to fill in their preferences from which we can tailor suitable courses, venues, accommodation and mode of transfer to suit.
All of our Rental Property customers receive details on local golfing facilities before embarking on their holidays.
Eco-tours and soft adventure
Maintaining the balance of nature is a prerequisite at Asian Sky and all our eco-tours and soft adventure holidays conform with the global drive to promote the sustainable development of tourism within countries at the same time respecting indigenous cultures.
Asian Sky's eco-tours are also geared to conform with our customers' own requirements and can be personalized to suit a particular parties interests. Options for consideration are:
Ancient temples and religious shrines; animal safaris; bird-watching; diving, elephant treks; jungle walks; offshore islands; rafting; sea canoeing; swimming, Thai cooking lessons and visits to Phang-Nga National Park with its famous "James Bond Island," from the film The Man with the Golden Gun.
Many of these activities are accessible from Phuket within a one-day excursion either by road or boat. For more distant destinations, an overnight stay is recommended.
In Chiang Mai we offer a range of mountain treks, river rafting and nature trail options with the most popular being a 7 to 9 day “White Water Rafting Wilderness Elephant Safari”.
Our Rental Property customers are provided with details of our eco-tour options, with documentation, prior to departure.
