Villa Salika Phuket, situated at Rawai Beach within the natural shelter and scenic beauty of Chalong Bay, combines the luxury and convenience of a 5 star hotel with the homeliness and comforts of a private residence. The villa development reflects the relaxing charm of Northern Thai style and comfortably accom modates up to 12 guests. All areas of the property are equipped with modern amenities and comforts.

Set in tranquil private grounds, the villa is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with a path-way winding its way around, allowing guests to explore the furthest corners and several quiet cosy retreats.

Entrance into the main building opens into a spacious living room, with ample seating and dining facilities for up to twelve people. Stairs lead to the master bedroom above with its stunning four poster bed, oversized sofa, huge balcony overlooking the bay, and an outdoor sunken spa bath with private massage pavilion.

Stepping outdoors from the living room onto the sun deck accesses the swimming pool, fringed by a lotus pond and Jacuzzi. A magnificent sala beckons, offering spectacular views out over Chalong Bay, with its open aspect inviting cooling breezes, the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed breakfast, lunch, or cocktails before dinner.

Four more elegantly appointed rooms are situated around the property, each having their own bathroom with shower facilities. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are adjoining rooms with queen and twin beds, while bedrooms 2 and 5 each have a king size bed and a sunken bath. All bedrooms have their own entrance.

The west wing of Villa Salika with its own private bedroom, toilet, shower and outdoor sunken bath, provides a large yoga exercise studio area offering opportunities for enhanced fitness and general wellbeing activities. Up to twelve practitioners can be accommodated comfortably. Alternatively, the studio is ideal as a meeting area for retreats and seminars with seating capacity for 12 or more.

Room amenities
All rooms are air-conditioned and have VCD/DVD players plus satellite TV. The villa provide towels, linens, bedroom slippers ,hair dryers, shampoo, body wash, body lotion and hand soap, with bath oils / salts on request. 4 bottles of mineral water are complimentary per day.

Communications
Wireless internet access is provided through out the villa in addition to telephone and fax facilities; a PC is also available for guests use.

Kitchen
Fully equipped Thai and western kitchen with a chef available on request (at least 48 hours notice).

Service Staff
1 manager, 2 house-keepers, a gardener and driver. Cook on request basis. Service is provided from 7 am to 10 pm unless otherwise agreed.

Transport
Transport to / from the airport is complimentary, as is the use of a Honda CRV car with driver during normal hours 9 am to 5 pm. Usage outside these hours is negotiable. Additional cars are available at a nominal daily rate. Gasoline is charged to the guests account.

Laundry
In house laundry is available at a nominal fee. Dry cleaning can be sent out and collected by arrangement.

Tours and Excursions
The villa staff will be pleased to assist guests with the making of reservations for restaurants, tours and excursions, spa visits, golf etc.

Activities
Villa Salika’s location gives easy access to Phuket’s most beautiful beaches. There are also excellent local facilities for sailing, fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving. Trips can be arranged to Coral, Lone or Racha islands.

For non beach lovers the island has many attractions to offer, including rainforest trekking, visits to temples, Muay Thai boxing, golf and horse riding. Krabi with its superb rock-climbing opportunities is also within easy reach; and of course there is always great shopping trips to be made!

World class spas and gourmet restaurants are close to Villa Salika, with Evason Resort and Six Senses Spa just along the road and, on the hillside behind Rawai the Mangosteen Spa, with its stunning 360 degree views overlooking 4 bays, mountains and the surrounding islands offers a unique experience.

Location
Rawai Beach on the south east coast of Phuket is located next to Promthep Cape, famous for its stunning sunsets out over the Andaman Sea, is an ideal location as a launching point for exploring the beautiful offshore islands. Close by beaches include Nai Harn, Kata and Karon.

Excursions to Phuket town take just 20 minutes and Patong Beach, the nightlife area of the island is a 25 minutes drive away.

Getting There
Villa Salika is a 55 minute drive heading south from Phuket international airport.
