This charming new resort consists of 35 air-conditioned chalets surrounded by tropical rain forest. The rooms blend rustic materials with modern comforts. When staying at the Greenview, you can visit two of Thailand's finest national parks.

Surin Island Marine Park has fine white beaches and is considered Thailand's foremost destination for snorkelers. Khao Soke National Park and the adjoining forest is one of Thailand's best preserved habitats for tropical flora and fauna.


The resort is located in northern Phang-Nga and is an excellent base for exploring the lush corner of South Thailand which lies north of famous Phuket. The following are some suggested trips, but you can choose from a large menu of activities and design your own holiday too. There's also an extensive menu of Thai and western dishes and wines.


Suggested Trip 1: 5 days/4 nights

Day 1

Pick-up from Phuket or other airport in southern Thailand and transfer to the resort. Relax at the resort, enjoying the pool and boating in the lake.

Day 2

Full-day trip to Khao Soke lake. This includes a 2-hour guided walk along jungle paths and streams and a boat ride on a fairy tale lake with steep limestone mountains jutting out of the lake.

Day 3

Take a 1-1/2 hour ride by speedboat to Surin Island National Park for a day of snorkeling and picnicking and relaxing on amazing white sand beaches. The boat will then take you to Golden Buddha Beach resort, where you spend a night in your own bungalow with a private bath, under luxuriant palms between two pristine beaches with hornbills and monkeys. Seafood barbecue on the beach.

Day 4

Relax on the beach (kayaks and snorkeling optional). Late afternoon return to Greenview resort.

Day 5

Enjoy a ride on elephant back through uninhabited forest. Proceed to Phuket or your next destination in southern Thailand.

Suggested Trip 2: 4 days/3 nights

Day 1

Pick up from Phuket or other airport in South Thailand and transfer to the resort. Relax at the resort. Optional activities include enjoying the swimming pool, boating in the lake, or short hikes around the resort.

Day 2

Overnight trip to Khao Soke lake. This includes a 2-hour guided walk along jungle paths and a boat ride on a fairy tale lake with steep limestone mountains jutting out of the lake. Stay overnight on raft houses in the lake and wake up to sound of wild birds and other wildlife, or visit the nearby Khao Soke lodge.

Day 3

Swim in the lake, take hike through rain forest and an underground river, and after lunch return by boat and car to the Greenview.

Day 4

Enjoy a ride on elephant back through uninhabited forest. Proceed to Phuket or your next destination in South Thailand.

How To Reach Greenview

Kuraburi Greenview Resort is on Khao Mae Yai near Sri Phang-Nga national park, off Petchakasaem road about 12 kilometers from the Kuraburi district of Phang Nga province. Approximate times to reach the resort are as follows:

- 30 minutes from Takuapa district
- 1 hour from Ranong airport
- 90 minutes from Surat Thani province
- 2 hours from Phuket airport
