Railei Beach is one of the world's most spectacular
beaches. It is surrounded by a sheer wall of craggy limestone cliffs,
which cut it off from the mainland and effectively baan all vehicles.

Sensitive tourism development has actually benefited the varied
wildlife found here, which include primates, sea eagles, civet cats,
among many others. The surrounding sea is studded with small craggy
islands, white spits of sand, and coral sea gardens.
Suggested Trip - 5 days/4 nights with sea canoe and snorkeling
We suggest the following itinerary, but we can also arrange shorter
or longer visits.
| Day 1 |
| Travel in an air conditioned van from Phuket or other Southern
Thailand town, and then take short boat ride to Railei Beach.
Stay overnight in a private bungalow. |
| Day 2 |
| At your leisure, you may swim from a perfect beach, hike
in the cliffs, observe wildlife, try batik-making, or just hang
out. In the evening, take a kayak trip in the bay to view the
sunset. |
| Day 3 |
| A half-day boat trip by long-tailed boat takes you exploring
and snorkeling around the outlying islands, all striking limestone
karsts. Picnic on a deserted islet. |
| Day 4 |
| After breakfast, take a one hour boat trip up the coast to
an isolated spot where you board a sea kayak. An experienced
nature guide will lead through tranquil lagoons flanked on both
sides by vertical limestone cliffs. |
| Day 5 |
| Return by air-conditioned car to Phuket or your next destination
in southern Thailand. Stop en route at Bok Koranee park, Thailand's
oldest national park, where a river emerges from the mouth of
a cave into a misty forest glen (optional). |
