Ban Mekkala, a 6 bedroom villa is a brand new beach front luxury home that has been purpose designed to provide comfortable and convenient tropical living. Set within walled private grounds the spacious accommodation design is complimented with the luxuries of modern technology and quality furnishings to create an ideal hideaway for those seeking a relaxing retreat, or fun getaway.

Entering the villa grounds, guests are enticed towards the residence over a stepped pond filled with Coy fish with the stunning view of the glistening blue ocean as a backdrop. The main entrance to the villa leads directly into the cavernous interior of the combined living / dining / kitchen area. This grand room situated on the second level of the main house creates a laidback feel through the use of space, and openplan design complimented by the stunning view that can be enjoyed from all locations within the building. Contained within this area is the home's enormous gourmet kitchen, twelve seat dining table fit for a feast, and the living/entertainment area furnished with modern Thai decor and one of the property's major treats; a state-of-the-art audio/visual system equipped with plasma TV and surround sound technology that is linked to every part of the house (inside and out).

Access to the ground floor level and sleeping accommodation is along a large covered balcony via the staircase which overlooks a feature waterfall flowing into the internal courtyard below. The 6 bedrooms consisting of 3 different styles (2 bedrooms per design). All bedrooms have king size beds, feature en-suite bathrooms with large walk-in showers and bath tubs, and TV/DVD players with individual satellite TV units.

Bedrooms 5 & 6 are located on the ground floor of the main house and also have a steam room. Moving down the garden towards the pool and beach there are four more individual bedroom pavilions. Bedrooms 3 & 4 are the first two on either side of the central grassed area and feature an additional outdoor shower in their own private courtyard. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are the Master Bedrooms and the largest of all with the added benefit of their own personal surround sound stereos that can be isolated from the system in the main house.

The large T shaped feature swimming pool which includes inlaid sun benches is positioned between the villa accommodation units and Laem Sor beach front. There is also a pavilion / sala with barbecue kitchen next to the pool ideal for outdoor dining and entertaining.

Ban Mekkala is the ultimate getaway home with an understated design style, extensive living space and idyllic location it provides guests with privacy and seclusion. However when required the added entertaining features of the property make it perfect for family reunions, holidays with friends or wedding celebrations.

Location
On the southern coast of Koh Samui some 35 minutes from the Airport and 15 minutes from the town of Lamai. In the Summer low tide season when the reef is dry for up to 100m, this opens the beach and reef up to all sorts of other activities such as beach volleyball, football or simply exploring the rock pools and collecting shellfish, a safe and ideal exciting activity for children.
