The Sarojin is a gorgeous brand new luxury boutique resort and spa retreat set within 10 acres of private tropical gardens riven by a saltwater estuary with direct access onto a beautiful white beach beside the Andaman Sea. Located 8 km north of the main Khao Lakarea in Phang Nga province, transfers from Phuket International Airport are just 1 hour.

Each Residence is privately entered by crossing a stream via the grounds and through a private garden terrace. Spa facilities

Pathways is a secluded spa haven floating over the main estuary and central energy lay line of The Sarojin and hidden from view by mangroves. It looks out across the estuary to a deserted coconut grove and beyond to the Andaman Sea. Rustic yet comfortable, and privately entered by a meandering boardwalk, Pathways is a discovered place and forms a key part of The Sarojin's 'well being' experience. Pathways blends together the ancient physical and spiritual healing of spa, creating a natural harmony for physical and spiritual nourishment resting the mind through meditation techniques. Pathways features two double and two single treatment pavilions, with outdoor tree showers and secluded couples' baths set among natural surrounds, a facial treatment room, a post treatment relaxation lounging area and a stilted Yoga and Tai Chi deck shaded by palms and mangrove canopy.

Dining options

The Sarojin offers tables set under an age-old tree at Ficus, where fine wines and beverages from around the world are served or at The Edge beside the shimmering Andaman Sea; or guests can be served in the intimacy of their private dining sala. Afternoon teas are served in the elegant portal of The Sarojin lounge. For those venturing out a sumptuous gourmet picnic basket can be provided. The chef will be pleased to try and match any personal “off menu” culinary preferences.
In the nearby centre of Khao Lak, restaurants and bars serve Thai as well as international cuisines such as Italian and German, and wines and international beers. Shops and markets offer local products and crafts.

Adventure

The Sarojin is ideally situated for a wide range of activities:
• Golf at Tap La Mu, Thai Muang, or at Asia's Premier course at The Blue Canyon Country Club
• Snorkel and SCUBA dive in the Similan or Surin Islands Marine National Parks (from the safety and comfort of our 38 ft boat Lady Sarojin), only 1 hour from the beach, renowned for their underwater beauty, marine life and coral, soft white sand beaches and lush interiors. With reefs beginning only yards from the white sand beaches and a visibility depth of up to 30 metres, the islands offer a superb snorkelling as well as diving experience whereby even young children and novice swimmers can enjoy underwater world usually reserved for only divers.
• Explore the adventurous playgrounds of Khao Lak and Khao Sok National Parks - only 40 minutes drive away, containing some of the World's oldest primary forest, limestone mountains, breathtaking lakes, caves and wild animals. From the mountains, waterfalls cascade into a lowland rainforest dated to be 160 million years old. You can jungle or elephant trek, or safari by canoe or jeep. It is nature at large and a much vaunted addition to your Sarojin Experience.

Info On Khao Lak Khao Lak is an area of outstanding beauty in Thailand. Pure white beaches, cascading waterfalls, spectacular primary forest, idyllic lagoons and wildlife abound. Khao Lak National Park is home to some of the oldest primary forest in the world and is easily accessible. Khao Lak means mountain by the sea. Legend has it that a wizard resided in the mountain. The small shrine of Chao Pho Khao Lak is dedicated to the wizard of the mountain. Thailand's most important turtle sanctuary on the Andaman coast is situated on the estuary at Tap La Mu, 8km south of Khao Lak centre. At Thai Muang, 25km south, sea turtles lay their eggs on the beaches from November to February.

The historic old town of Takuapa lies 20km north and was formerly the most important town on the west coast due to previous vast tin repositories and mining in the area. The old town retains much evidence of its historic importance including several old teak houses and the Governor's residence.

How To Get There

The Sarojin has a luxurious fleet of private cars that are available to meet all guests on arrival at Phuket International Airport for onward transfer to The Sarojin. Refreshments and cold towels are served along the way.
